Fruits

We all have strengths and weaknesses. The enemy attacks us where we are weak. In the Bible we read about Samson and his great feats of strength.  Like all of us, Samson had a weakness, and his weakness was women.

Delilah was the woman that broke Samson’s strength. The name Delilah means low-hanging fruit, which is a thing or person that can be won, obtained, or persuaded with little effort. The enemy loves to tempt us with low-hanging fruit.

Low hanging fruit will rot your soul. This Lenten season lets focus on the fruits of the Spirit which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness and self-control. Let us pray that these fruits ripen in our life.

We all have strengths and weaknesses, but our greatest strength is when we realize that apart from Jesus we can do nothing.
