Have you ever met somebody with “I disease?” It’s not a physical ailment it is a spiritual one. You meet them and the conversation is all about them. They speak in phrases like ” I did this” and “I did that.”

Ay yi yi, it’s a terrible disease. It kills the soul because it destroys your relationship with God. The person with “I disease” takes the credit for everything and doesn’t give God the credit for anything.

“I disease” goes by another name, pride. In the Bible, pride is listed as  one of the seven deadly sins.

But don’t worry if you suffer from this dreadful disease there is a cure and John the Baptist provides us the answer. John tells us He (Jesus) must increase and we must decrease.

So, if you have “I disease” John would prescribe a strong does of less of me and more of thee. If you’re spiritual sight doesn’t improve, get on your knees and call Christ in the morning.
