On Palm Sunday Jesus was greeted by a crowd waving Palm branches. We were greeted with 5 inches of snow. My first thought was, you got to be kidding me. My second thought was the Scripture reading at our Pause service earlier in the week. “Though your sins are like Scarlet, they shall be white as snow.”

What a great reminder that the blood of Christ covered our sins.

The snow would quickly fade away but the Lord’s love for us never will. We would have a beautiful Easter Sunday and it appeared that after a long winter that spring had finally sprung. I think we were all grateful for the season to change but even more grateful the Lord never changes he is the same yesterday, today and forever.
