The Prodigal One

After the last supper Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane, “And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.” Jesus wept; His disciples slept, oh, how Satan must have laughed. Jesus was mocked, spit on and flogged. The crowds yelled, “Crucify Him” and Peter “The Rock” denied Him, oh, how Satan must have laughed.
