The Prodigal One

The last couple of weeks I have been working moving mulch. Not a pile, but a mountain of mulch. My first thought was that I would never get through this. A little despair set in when I discovered the mulch would need to be pushed up an incline to get to its destination. Jobs are not easy to come by, so I grabbed a shovel and began to dig in and talk with God. I have found the tedious becomes easier when I look at it as spending quality time with God.
