The Prodigal One

I just finished reading “The Bait of Satan” by John Bevere. Bevere states, “…that in order to be successful a trap must be hidden, and it must be baited. Satan is the master at baiting traps. One of the most deceptive kinds of bait is something every Christian has encountered-offense. Actually, offense itself is not deadly-if it stays in the trap. But if we take the bait we become offended.” Offended people can produce anger, outrage, and hatred which could lead to insults, broken relationships, and backsliding, which leads to sins of the flesh.
