Have you ever met somebody with “I disease?” It’s not a physical ailment it is a spiritual one. You meet them and the conversation is all about them. They speak in phrases like ” I did this” and “I did that.” Ay yi yi, it’s a terrible disease. It kills the soul because it destroys your relationship with God. The person with “I disease” takes the credit for everything and doesn’t give God the credit for anything. “I disease” goes by another name, pride.
