The Prodigal One

  Today is the day we celebrate Palm Sunday. The day people received Jesus as their King. Matthew described the coronation, “A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”   How quickly things change. By Friday the crowd honored their King with a crown of thorns. The crowd would pardon a murderer instead of the one who would pardon us from our sins. The coronation …..
