Fear is a big part of Halloween but an even bigger part of the Bible. Fear of God is mentioned over 300 times in the Bible. Jesus said to the people, “I tell you, my friends, don’t be afraid of people. They can kill the body, but after that they can do nothing more to hurt you.I will show you the one to fear. You should fear God, who has the power to kill you and also to throw you into hell. Halloween is this Friday. It is the one day of the year people love to be scared. People will pay money to walk through a haunted house fearful of what is around the next corner. While I am on the subject of fear, the question I would like you to ponder is do you fear God? The Old Testament mentioned several times how the people feared God.
