I think sometimes I suffer from Spiritual amnesia. Spiritual amnesia occurs when we forget how far God has brought us.

Returning home after my incarceration I praised the Lord and quoted King David, “Who am I O Lord and what is my family that you brought us this far.”

When I was in the valley, I felt sorry for myself and again quoted King David, “My sin is ever before me.”

But as always, the God of extreme patience would bring me out of the valley and assure me His grace is greater. My memory is back and once again I am quoting King David because “My cup runneth over.”
