In the movie “A Christmas Carol” death knocked at Scrooge’s door and gave him a second chance. Maybe you have had a close call such as an accident or illness and heard the same knocking. Maybe it was your wakeup call because, “The Lord is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter:3)

Maybe it wasn’t the Ghost of Christmas past but the Holy Ghost.

In the book of Revelations, Jesus says,” Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in.” (Revelations 3:20)

What are you waiting for? Don’t be a Scrooge, open the door and let Him in.
