Mom
My mom has many wonderful qualities but for me, her greatest attribute is her faith.
When I was a little boy my mom always picked me up when I fell, held me until I was okay and bandaged my wounds, so I could go back outside and play.
Seven years ago, when I fell from grace once again she was there to lift me up. Her faith has taught me how to persevere and her love has helped heal the scars left by my sins.
My mom has taught me about faith and introduced me to Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. I don’t know where I would be without my mom, but I do know where I am going because of her faith.
The book of Hebrews chapter 11 is known as the “Faith Hall of Fame” because it comprised of the exploits of great men and women from the Old Testament. On my “Faith Hall of Fame” list my mom is at the top.
Thanks mom for answering Jesus when He called and thank you for teaching me all about faith. Happy Mother’s Day and thank you to all the mothers that have been there for me and my family.
