This past Saturday the 31st I was out running errands and instead of wishing people a Happy New Year I kept wishing them a Merry Christmas. When Christ is the center of your Christmas it is a little harder to let go of Christmas and move into a New Year.

After running my errands and wishing everyone Merry Christmas I went home, listened to some Christian Christmas music and started to take down the tree. I enjoy the Christmas tree and gifts under it, but I love celebrating the gift from God wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in the manger.

So, as we move into 2017 I want to wish you another Merry Christmas and a Christ filled New Year.
