In the book of Luke Jesus gives us a glimpse of our eternal homes. Jesus tells us how a beggar died, and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. A rich man named Lazarus also died but was sent to Hades, where he was in torment and in agony in the fire.

What a difference when our home is with Jesus. Right before my friend’s father went home, he smiled as his pastor read about Heaven’s streets of Gold hugged his family and peacefully went to sleep. Home is where your heart is. This man’s heart was with Jesus and now he is at his Heavenly home. Home sweet home.
