Home Alone
My sons and I enjoy watching Christmas movies and last Sunday we watched Home Alone. The movie is about a young boy named Kevin that is accidentally left home while his family flies to Paris. Kevin is reunited with his family and everyone lives happily ever after.
Unfortunately for many “Home Alone” during the holidays is all to real. Broken relationships or death of a loved may only magnify the “Home Alone” feeling.
Maybe you are feeling a little lonely let me assure you as a follower of Christ, you are never alone. Before going back to Heaven Jesus told His disciples, “anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
Christmas, it is all about celebrating the birth of our savior so rejoice in the fact that the Holy Spirit lives in you and that you are never, ever, “Home Alone.”
