Going to College

It was rumored when people in the mafia would go to prison they would refer to it as “going to college.”
Looking back, I consider my time in prison as a retreat because I used it to draw closer to God. I don’t think of those days much anymore. I have decided to follow the words (and example) of Apostle Paul, “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
As I strain toward what is ahead, I will only look back as a reminder of how far I have come. I am glad my college days are over and grateful that now I am being home schooled by Jesus who has shown me the way, the truth and the life.
