Eyes To See

Jesus said, “Those who have eyes let them see.” As I continue to try to “walk in way” I see spiritually better every day, but not so well physically.

I have been struggling for years seeing at night and decided to have cataract surgery. The lord is always teaching me something, and this short season in my life is no exception.

I have learned the human eye is capable of absorbing and instantly processing more than 10 million pieces of information per second. Based on the complexity of an eye I believe one would need more faith to be an atheist then to believe that our God is the creator of all things.

Our health may change, but Jesus never does, he’s the same yesterday, today and forever.

It is better to have a man of God operating on you than one who thinks he is. I was fortunate to have a brother in Christ as a surgeon.

The aging process gives us an opportunity to lean more on the everlasting arms until the day comes when we will fall into them and He carries us Home.

As we get prepared to celebrate the birth of our Lord “may the eyes of your heart be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you. (Ephesians 1:18)”
