Choices
The other day I decided to go for a run. It was a beautiful morning so I thought it would be a great way to start my day. I usually pray when I run and today was no exception. About a mile into my usual route I noticed there were paramedics at someone’s home. I had no idea who lived there but immediately began to pray for healing. As I came closer I saw a gurney being wheeled out and noticed that the body was covered.
I interpreted it as a sign that whoever it was may not have made it. Prayers for healing turned to prayers for salvation. The time for healing both physically and spiritually had passed. The person had a choice to make while living, I prayed they made the right one.
Things can change in a blink of an eye or in my case a couple of steps. We all have choices to make every day. The most important choice one will ever make is whether to follow or not follow Christ. Hopefully, if you have not chosen to do so you make the right one. The choice you make you will have to live with for eternity.
