I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick, and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. The “I was” is Jesus. Jesus assures us that whatever we do for one of the least of these, we are doing it for Him. (Matthew 25:35-40) I never reached out to the “I was” until after I became one. Now, I try to take advantage of every opportunity the Lord gives me to do so. May we all …..

A sign at a local counseling service read: Bad News-Time Flies. Good News-You’re the pilot. The truth is that the good news the service advocates is a lie and can only go from bad to worse. The real “Good News” is that Jesus died to save, and we can leave the flying to Him. You may think you are the pilot, but the enemy is the air traffic controller. When the storms of this life comes flying solo leads to a crash landing, but for those who trust in Christ find new strength. They soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. (Isaiah 40:31) That …..

Broken hearts can become hardened by the world or healed by the Word. (John1:1). Jesus promises to give us a new heart and a new spirit and to take away our heart of stone and give us a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26) In a world consumed by chaos Jesus offers the peace that passes all understanding, (Philippians 4:7) because Jesus has overcome this world. (John 16:33) Give Jesus your heart …..

According to an article published by Men’s Fitness, Americans drink 325 million gallons of beer on Superbowl Sunday. Some of those drinking may become intoxicated. The Apostle Paul has a better way to spend Super Bowl Sunday. Paul said, “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.” (Ephesians 5: 18) The fruits of the vine can lead to a hangover while the fruit of the Spirit leads to love, peace, and joy. Drinking too many spirits one can lose control and spiral out of control, but the Holy Spirit gives us self-control. This Sunday the only spirit we should be under the influence of, …..

I was disappointed to hear Tom Brady “The Goat” (Greatest of All Time) announce his retirement. It may be okay to be a Goat in this world, but you don’t want to be one in the next. Jesus promises, “He will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.” Those on his right will be welcomed into His kingdom because they looked out for the least of these. They fed the hungry, gave drink to the thirsty, invited the stranger in,clothed the naked, looked after the sick and visited the prisoners. Unfortunately, the Goats on …..
