A couple of weeks ago I was invited to speak at a jail 90 miles from home. I was asked 3 years ago but according to God’s timing it took a while. As always, God’s timing is perfect.

When the group of men came in there was a young man who was with me 7 years ago in the county jail. When it was my turn to share my story I said, “Our God is the God of second, third, fourth, and fifth chances. We just need to turn away from our sin and turn to God.”

I wanted the young man to know did he had another chance. After the message the he asked for a Bible and signed up for counseling with the Chaplain.

Through the grace of God this young man will get another chance.
