We have all broken the law. Some have broken man’s law but all of us have broken God’s law. God ‘s law is the 10 commandments and breaking His law is a sin. 

When Jesus was asked “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” 

If you have not loved God with all your heart you are a law breaker. The only one who has ever been able to keep this commandment (and the others) is Jesus Christ. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

Being good doesn’t get you too Heaven the Good shepherd does.  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23)
