Growing up, my favorite superheroes Batman, Robin, and Aquaman all wore masks.

This week I found another masked hero. My new hero is a Pastor who was wearing a mask with the verse Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God has a plan when most people in charge don’t and He does not want to harm us even though others would. Jesus offers hope and a future in a way that only He can do.

The Lord’s masked avenger showed another way for Christians to, “share the gospel, speak only when necessary.”
