A Christian’s kryptonite is their flesh. When the flesh is present, we lose power.

The flesh is evil, but we have a superpower called the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Don’t leave home without it.

The other day a friend asked me what my kryptonite was.

I told him that I have been broken from so many times I wasn’t sure if I had any left. I wasn’t being Prideful because apart from Jesus I can do nothing. I wasn’t bragging because If I boast of anything I boast of the Lord. I wasn’t being self-righteous because the only way I have been right is through the blood of Christ.

A little later the Lord reminded me that anger is my Kryptonite.

There are times when our kryptonite makes us weak. Don’t worry because God’s power is made perfect in our weakness and when we are weak then we are strong.
