On My Knees
My mom taught me how to pray. Every night I would kneel by my bed and pray.
Somewhere along the way life got in the way and I forgot about the power when I was on my knees. Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees.
Much of my recent fasting time was spent on my knees. Praying on bended knee with a broken heart. A couple weeks ago I was teaching a youth group about using fasting as a tool for Spiritual Warfare.
I asked one of the young men what he did when the devil began harassing him. He struggled for answers, so I made it simple and told him drop to your knees and pray out loud-Lord I need help, Lord I need help, Lord I need help. I have learned that praying out load is one way to silence the devil.
The Bible tells us we need to pray without ceasing. There are several ways to pray but sometimes we need to take the time and pray on our knees.
