Praise the Lord
“I will extol the Lord at all times: his praise will always be on my lips.” (Psalm 34:1)
I praise the Lord all the time. They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away. I have learned that, praising the Lord each day keeps the devil at bay.
I have found it better to praise the Lord even on a bad day. During a recent ice storm I slipped and fell as I was coming down the driveway. The older I get the harder I fall. Years ago I would have cursed but instead I praised the Lord that I did not break anything.
I brushed myself off, jumped in my car and praised the Lord that it started instead of complaining about the heater not working.
As I was driving to work another car almost ran into me, I praised the Lord they didn’t. Instead of road rage I prefer road rave and the one I rave about is Jesus Christ.
I praised the Lord when I made the green light and praised the Lord when I didn’t. A red light gives me more time to Praise the Lord.
Some people look at life as their cup half empty, some as half full. But I look at my cup as overflowing (Psalm 23:5) and I praise the Lord for it.
