Flawless
Flawless
The other day I had a meeting with a lady to discuss ways of promoting my book and ministry. As we were talking I could not help but notice the diamond ring on her finger. I have never been an admirer of jewelry but this diamond appeared to be flawless. After visiting a few minutes I discovered she was flawless. She was flawless because she accepted Christ as her savior. The cross made her flawless.
One of my favorite songs heard on Christian Radio is called Flawless. I would like to share a portion of the lyrics:
“No matter the bumps
No matter the bruises
No matter the scars
Still the truth is
The cross has made
The cross has made you flawless
No matter the hurt
Or how deep the wound is
No matter the pain
Still the truth is
The cross has made
The cross has made you flawless”
The world likes to put labels on people. People may say your too fat, too thin, not rich enough, smart enough or pretty enough. People use labels to elevate themselves s up so they can look down on others. The only problem with looking down on people is you can’t see God. To see God you need to look up.
But it does not matter what others think because when the dust settles and the smoke clears the only thing that counts is what God thinks. So next time the world tries to put a label on you, remember in God’s eyes you’re flawless.
