Last week I was picking some weeds and a couple days later I noticed a rash on my arm. I figured it would go away, I was wrong.

I postponed seeing the doctor and it quickly spread. Another couple of days I was covered with poison ivy. The doctor prescribed two-weeks of steroids as the cure.
Sounds a lot like sin. Sin is poison for the soul. If we don’t act quickly, soon we are covered in it. At the first sign of sin we need to seek the great physician and become healed by a dose of sincere repentance. Instead of covered in our sin we are covered by the blood.
